Fishing Report - Trinity and East Bay -Texas
For the past week fishing has been very good. There has been a lot of big fish being caught under working birds after the first cool front came through. Flounders had started their movement but as the temperature started increasing they slowed down and where being caught sporadically for the past 3 days. Heavier Speckle trout and Redfish where being caught during the cooler weather but they are not as plentiful caused again by the weather warming back up and we are having to return more undersize before a keeper is landed. If you placed a count on returned fish to each keeper the ratio would be approx. 15 to 1. There has been some nice size fish being caught in swallow water while wading or drifting on a little more consistent bases.<br /> <br /> Today was almost a lost day, it start out nice and the water temperature was 72 degree but by midmorning the wind startrd picking up from the south-southeast 15-22 mph and shifted to the north to northwest and increasing to 30-45 mph and gusty until this new front passes through. It should settle back down by the weekend and fishing should resume as before. <br /> <br /> One little note for those that are fishing in the shallows and that is be aware that (Duck Season) is in full swing and there will be some resentment by those hunters if you invade their area so do your best to give them plenty of room. In other words don’t take a rod and reel to a gun fight.

Fishing Report - Key West Post Wilma News
Fishing Update …10/29/05<br /> Key West is back from Hurricane Wilma. The Saltwater Angler opened for business yesterday, and many of the hotels are receiving quests. The harbor will reopen soon; our first cruise ship docks on Tuesday. Other visitors are already flying in. The water is clearing and the flats should be good for sight fishing shortly. I have already seen some light tackle boats heading out to try their luck in deeper water. If you have a trip planned for the near future you should be OK. If you want to plan a trip, give us a call. We are here to answer your questions.
